La Bocca

Go here when you are down on Mill and looking for a modern or contemporary restaurant rather than a chain restaurant or pub.

La Bocca is the only place on Mill Avenue that is like the modernist and contemporary restaurants of Arcadia and Old Town Scottsdale. The patio for La Bocca winds from the front of the restaurant to the side so you can watch the comings and goings of University influenced Mill Avenue while you relax.

Experience La Bocca is located on Mill Avenue in Tempe. Most of the restaurants on Mill are either chains, such as Gordon Biersch, or are Irish Pubs like Roula Boula. It is nice for Tempe to have a Phoenix style modernist restaurant on Mill.

Patio The patio fronts onto Mill Avenue and gives a great view of the hustle and bustle of Mill as you eat or enjoy a drink. The patio winds around the side of La Bocca as well, so you don't have to be directly on the street.

Parking There is no valet service or dedicated parking area. There is little parking on Mill Avenue anyway though there are public parking areas if you are prepared to walk. Most people get to Mill by light rail, bike or walking anyway.
